The Vortex Flash Hider’s specially angled helical flutes effectively hide flash, and align exiting barrel gas to improve accuracy with all bullet types. The base ring grooves allow integration of Blank Firing Attachments as used by law enforcement trainers, and permit installation of other sound suppression devices. The Vortex is threaded ½” – 28 t.p.i. for standard barrels and requires no washer. When installing, torque to 10 ft. lbs. max. as it will self-tighten as the weapon is fired. Machined from the same 8620 bar stock steel used in the manufacture of AR-15/M16 bolt carriers, then heat-treated to provide a high-strength core and tough, outer shell. Finish is Parkerized, black matte. The Vortex flash hider can be used with Smith Enterprise SEI Direct Connect sound suppressors. Made in the U.S.A.
