This heavy barrel version of the Dissipator design offers rifle length sighting for improved accuracy, and a carbine length barrel’s ease of handling. The heavy barrel kit mounts a low profile gas block in the carbine position, and a full A2 front sight base positioned at the rifle length with a triangular handguard cap, sling swivel, front sight post , front sight detent, and bayonet lug. It also includes the barrel extension with M4 Feed Ramps, delta ring, weld spring, snap ring, car length gas tube, gas tube spring pin, rifle length handguards, flash hider and crush washer. This premium barrel is machined from 4150 Chrome Moly Vanadium 11595E Steel, Chrome Lined in both Bore and Chamber for long wear and ease of cleaning and Black Manganese Phosphate finished for protection against rust and corrosion. Button rifling (1 turn in 9 inches – right hand twist) offers optimum accuracy with a wide range of .223 / 5.56mm ammunition. The muzzle is threaded 1/2” x 28 T.P.I.
