The Magpul MOE M-Lok Rifle Length Handguard Set for AR15/M16 rifles combines light weight with modular M-Lok flexibility. M-Lok slots for the mounting of 1913 Mil-Std rail sections and other M-Lok accessories are at the two, six, and ten o’clock positions. This allows the attachment of optional rail sections and other accessories for mounting tactical lights, slings, grips, etc. Reinforced, heat-resistant polymer construction provides operational durability without the weight and expense of an aluminum rail hand guard, and integral riveted aluminum heat shields help dissipate barrel heat. Front extensions and lower lip provides additional operator protection from a hot front sight assembly or gas block. This handguard is compatible with both direct impingement, and most piston-driven gas systems. We use this on our 20” .308 Rifle – it will also fit other 20“ barreled rifles.
